2026 Kamloops Open in Kelowna (March 20-22)

The Kamloops Badminton Association (KBA), KBC, and the Masters Nationals Committee are excited to announce that the 2026 Kamloops Open will be hosted in Kelowna as a special fundraiser tournament in support of the 2026 Yonex Canadian Masters Championships.

In a fantastic show of collaboration, KBA has partnered with KBC to bring this event to Kelowna, with all proceeds going toward supporting Nationals. This tournament promises a competitive and fun-filled weekend, along with exciting door prizes, trophies, and the strong sense of community that both clubs are known for.

📍 Location: Kelowna Badminton Club
💲 Entry Fee: $80 (Adults) | $65 (Juniors)
🎯 Entry Cap: Limited to 80 individual entries (first come, first served)
🗓 Registration Deadline: Friday, March 13, 2026

  • Women’s Singles (WS), Women’s Doubles (WD), Mixed Doubles (XD), Men’s Singles (MS), Men’s Doubles (MD)
  • Combined 80+
  • Combined U30 (A great opportunity for Juniors)

Special Event ⭐: Kamlowna Doubles

Introducing a unique, exhibition-style event celebrating the partnership between Kamloops and Kelowna!

  • One player from Kamloops will be randomly paired with one player from Kelowna
  • No age or gender restrictions
  • Single game format to 30 points (first to 30 wins)
  • Winning team will receive a prize (TBD)

Please Note:

  • This is a lottery-based event, and participation is not guaranteed
  • Interested players must indicate their willingness by selecting the appropriate option on the Payment page
  • This event does not count toward the maximum of four events. Players may still register for up to four regular events.

This is a fundraiser tournament, and all proceeds will go toward supporting the 2026 Yonex Canadian Masters Championships being held in Kelowna.
