Join us at the KBC Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 22!

The KBC Board of Directors has scheduled the Annual General Meeting for Sunday, June 22, 2025.  Come down to the club for our annual business meeting and maybe even some badminton beforehand.

The courts will be available for “free play” from 1:00pm – 2:45pm and KBC provides the shuttles.  The AGM will take place starting at 3pm.  The AGM is an opportunity to recap the 2024/25 season, provide your input on club direction and the upcoming season, vote on three special resolutions about capital improvements and hosting Canadian Masters Nationals in 2026, and vote on the next Board of Directors for the 2025/26 season.  

Click here to view the AGM 2025 Agenda and financial reports will be available at the AGM.  Beyond a review of club finances and our successes over the previous year, we will discuss 2025/26 membership rates and potential improvements to club.  We’ll also be looking for feedback from members as we elect a new board and decide on priorities for the coming year.

Do you love the club and want to get more involved?  Are you interested in volunteering at the club or joining the Board of Directors?  Our club is based on volunteers and we are always looking for people to help out and make the club better.  In particular, we are looking for a social director to organize food and an existing dedicated group of volunteers at various events,  If you have questions or are interested in helping in any way, contact a current board member or email [email protected] to let us know.  New ideas and energy are always welcome!
