KBC at Canadian Masters Championship

Six of our players represented KBC at the “2023 Yonex Canadian Masters Badminton Championships” in Calgary last week. They were Randy Belanger, Betty Gordon, Ezreena Scott, Tess Tearoe, Martin Weilmeier and Terry Downton (who currently lives in Calgary). Over 300 players from all over Canada and many other countries competed in 55 age-based events.

We had some really good results. Tess won WD70 (national champion!) and made the semis in WD65 and XD70. Terry was the runner-up in MS50. Randy made the semis in MS65. Ezreena made the semis in WS50.

Congratulations to all of our KBC participants, and thanks for making us proud!
